International cooperation plays a central role in creating more inclusive, resilient, and student-centred higher education systems. Through collaboration between universities and knowledge exchange across countries, institutions can develop more effective approaches to support students facing academic, social, and personal challenges.
Within the Erasmus+ project UkraStud, transnational cooperation represents a key element in strengthening support systems for Ukrainian students and promoting inclusive practices in higher education. By bringing together partners from different European countries, the project enables the exchange of experiences, sharing of good practices, and joint development of solutions that respond to the needs of diverse student communities.
Throughout the project implementation, partner institutions have worked together through regular meetings of project teams and working groups. These collaborative activities provided opportunities for discussing challenges, exchanging perspectives, and developing practical recommendations related to student support, academic integration, intercultural inclusion, and wellbeing.
The cooperation within UkraStud highlights the importance of connecting different expertise and institutional experiences. By working together across national borders, universities can learn from each other and create sustainable approaches that strengthen their capacity to provide timely and effective support for students.
A significant milestone of the project was the final conference held in Padua, Italy, which gathered project partners, university professors, and students. The event provided a valuable opportunity to present the project achievements, share experiences, and discuss the future of student support and inclusion in higher education.
By bringing together both academic staff and students, the conference emphasized the importance of dialogue and collaboration between institutions and student communities. It demonstrated that successful student support systems are built through partnership, mutual understanding, and active involvement of all stakeholders.
Through international cooperation and transnational partnerships, UkraStud contributes to the development of more inclusive European higher education environments where students can continue their academic journeys, build connections, and actively participate in university life.
