Ștefan cel Mare University of Suceava hosted the first transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ project UkraStud – “Perceptions of Inclusion, Well-being and Identification with the European Union in Ukrainian University Students”, bringing together partners from across Europe for two days of collaboration, planning, and exchange of ideas.
Representatives from partner institutions in Italy, Romania, Turkey, Croatia, and Ukraine gathered in Suceava to officially launch the project activities and discuss the first stages of implementation. The meeting created an important opportunity for partners to strengthen cooperation and establish a common vision focused on inclusion, educational support, and well-being for Ukrainian university students. Throughout the meeting, the consortium discussed the project objectives, work packages, dissemination activities, research directions, and the development of educational resources and support tools that will be implemented during the project period. Particular attention was given to topics such as: inclusion and integration of Ukrainian students in higher education; psychological well-being and resilience; tutor support and online educational resources; intercultural dialogue and European values; collaborative strategies for dissemination and communication.
The meeting also provided a valuable space for exchanging good practices and reinforcing institutional partnerships between the participating organisations. As the first transnational meeting of the project, the event marked an important milestone in the implementation of UkraStud and laid the foundation for future collaborative activities and international cooperation initiatives. The UkraStud consortium remains committed to promoting inclusive, supportive, and student-centred educational environments through European collaboration and shared expertise.
