Higher education has the power to connect people, strengthen communities, and provide stability in times of uncertainty. Across Europe, universities have demonstrated the importance of solidarity and cooperation by supporting students affected by war, displacement, and disrupted educational pathways.
Within the Erasmus+ project UkraStud, European higher education institutions work together to strengthen support mechanisms for Ukrainian students and promote more inclusive, resilient, and supportive academic environments. The project reflects the shared commitment of universities to ensure that students can continue their education, develop their potential, and remain connected to academic communities.
Supporting Ukrainian students goes beyond providing access to education. It requires a comprehensive approach that considers academic needs, social integration, wellbeing, and a sense of belonging.
